Life rarely goes according to our ideal plan. Maybe as a child you dreamed of having a certain career, living in a certain city with a certain kind of husband or wife, having a certain number of children, making a certain amount of money. . . and the dream went on.
But as an adult you found youself faced with a mountain of student loan debt or a career that is less than satisfying. Maybe you have been divorced or widowed. Maybe you found yourself or your spouse to be infertile. Or perhaps you have been downsized and find yourself facing bankruptcy.
Reality is rarely a dream world.
What we do with our circumstances becomes our reality. We can make it enjoyable or miserable. Fulfilling or lacking. Harsh or kind.
What we make of whatever life hands us will determine the person we become. No excuses, just plain old hard work. Work on our attitudes. Work on our actions. Work on our reactions.
What will you make of the life you have been dealt? It is your decision.
Working,
Paula
