Do Something!

Today on my Internet Marketing Blog I posted about taking action. About Doing Something!

If we just float through life letting things happen to us instead of purposely acting, we will get somewhere. But it will probably be far from where we had planned to end up.

If I decide to take a sailboat out on the open sea and all I do is get in and hoist the sail, something will happen. I may get pushed ahead by the wind. I might sit still in the water and drift with the tide. I might end up in the middle of no where with no clue where I am or how to get to where I want to be.

I can't just float along the current of life and expect anything different. I must make plans, I must store up provisions, I must navigate the course that I have set out to take.

I may still end up with a detour or two. I could possibly encounter a storm that will throw me off course for a while. My boat could even capsize and leave me stranded in deep water with no one to help me. But if I have prepared well. I will have the mental, physical, and spiritual capacity to handle even that situation.

But I must take action! Starting now! I don't know what I will face this afternoon or next week or next year. But if I don't prepare in someway for the circumstances that life will throw my way I will drift aimlessly.
