Vision

Have you ever had blurry vision? What used to be clear and defined suddenly appears fuzzy and unclear? It can be a little disconcerting. It may make you want to just close your eyes until it goes away.

Looking at the future can be like that. You try to imagine yourself in a year or two, maybe ten or twenty years if you are feeling brave. But it appears fuzzy and unclear. And really far away! Perhaps this is because we lack vision.

A clear vision will:
  • Give us something to aim for
  • Give us a destination
  • Help us to draw a "road map"
  • Show us which decisions we should make today to get us to our destination in the future

Do you have vision? Ask yourself these questions:

  • If money, time and circumstances were no object, what would you be doing with your life right now?
  • Would you like to be doing that same thing in a year?
  • How about ten years or twenty years?
  • What do you need to start doing today to get to that dream?

Of course, there are several steps between dream and reality, but starting off with a vision of what you'd like your reality to become is the first step. Take it!
